Lee Vining Canyon

Lee Vining Canyon Fall Colors - some spectacular views, fall colors, flowers and butterflies on the trail down Lee Vining Canyon!  Lee Vining Canyon is one of the lower elevation places in the Eastern Sierra that changes color later in the season.  The hike in Lee Vining Canyon is wonderful on a cool fall day (it can be hot on a warm fall day).  You can start at the Mono Basin National Forest Scenic Area Visitor Center, or start in the town of Lee Vining - here is a map link to where the trail starts in Lee Vining.
